The public humanities have multiple homes at each Rutgers campus. At the Camden campus, the Mid-Atlantic Regional Center for the Humanities (MARCH) offers continuing education courses and events in the South Jersey and Philadelphia regions. New Brunswick undergraduate students can earn a certificate in public history and learn how to engage their communities in history. At the Newark campus, the American Studies program focuses its academic courses and programming on student and faculty engagement in the public humanities with the surrounding community.
