The Drawing and Painting Intensive is a two-week immersive art-making experience designed to take students deep into the process of observational drawing and painting in oil paint for art school portfolio development. Emphasis will be placed on color understanding, linear structure, expression, and application of the paint medium.
New this summer, the Drawing & Painting Intensive will include a Portfolio Track offering focused portfolio development and advisement opportunities for junior and senior high school students interested in applying to art school. Students wishing to join the Portfolio Track must submit a short, personal statement concerning their artistic interests, and five images (jpg format) that represent your best work.
